Flaxseed and flaxseed (linseed oil)

Flaxseeds are the seeds from the flax plant.  They can be used whole, ground into a meal or used as an oil – flaxseed (linseed) oil.

Flaxseeds are the most concentrated plant source of Omega 3 fatty acids.

They are rich in antioxidants, B vitamins and dietary fibre

flaxseedsCAUTION: keep refrigerated because they can go rancid quickly.

Try this – 

Add a tablespoon of LSA (linseed, sunflower seed, almond meal) mixture to a bowl of berries & yoghurt for breakfast.

Add 1 teaspoon flaxseed oil and 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar to your lunch salad as a dressing.

Add 1/2 tablespoon flaxseed oil to your smoothies.

Your body will thank you!
