Green Smoothie

Have you ever wanted to make a healthy & refreshing Green Smoothie?

Try this one…green juice

  • 2-3 sticks of celery
  • 1/2 bunch of English spinach
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 1/4 bunch of parsley
  • 1 lime or lemon (peeled)
  • A few mint leaves
  • Cup of ice cubes

Blend all of the ingredients in a powerful blender on the highest speed until smooth.

Add about 750ml of water and 1/2 cup pure coconut water (optional)

Blend for 2 minutes on high speed until consistency of juice.

Other ideas for green smoothie

  • Add 1/2 apple for a sweeter drink
  • Try adding a 1cm slice of ginger – great for the digestion
  • Other vegetables that work well are lettuce, all spinach types, Asian vegetables & kale
