love, love, love, my Kale Chips…

kale chipsThese KALE CHIPS are so simple to make.

What amazed me the first time I made them is that my whole fussy family ate them.  In fact there was a bit of a fuss over who would finish them.

You must give them a try.

KALE CHIPS

  • About 4-5 stalks of kale
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or coconut oil (melted)
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt

Preheat oven to 220 degrees C

Cut the stalks out of the middle of the kale (you cannot digest these)

Cut into bit size pieces (I use my kitchen scissors)

Place pieces into a bowl and add oil, vinegar and salt

Massage oil, vinegar and salt into the kale pieces with your hands.  Make sure they are all coated.

Lay out on a baking tray and bake in oven for about 5-10 minutes until crispy and just brown on edges (keep an eye on them because they can burn quickly)

Serve them in a lovely big bowl for everyone to share.
